Since I have a paid premium account on here now, I should use Dreamwidth more. Maybe I'll make a community or two tomorrow.

Unrelatedly, I have 155 books to read, and I can't choose a single one to read right now. I'm partway through Naomi Novik's Empire of Ivory, but I'll finish that tomorrow. Oh, dilemma.

I have a list written out, so normally I get people to pick a number. Just after I posted this, I realised I had a book I want to reread that's a stand-alone (most of the books I have are in trilogies, which is irritating when I just want a quick read). Robin McKinley's Sunshine -- slightly atypical vampire romance, gogo.

Oh, I read that a while ago and enjoyed it! I hope you do. It's the only book of McKinley's that I've read so far, but it convinced me I wanted to read more.

It's a reread for me, but it's been a while and my brain is being strangely blank, so I guess I have lots to rediscover!

I've liked a lot of McKinley's other stuff, if I remember rightly. Both her Beauty and the Beast retellings are nice. I have Spindle's End and Deerskin on my shelves to read, too...

(How I fit so many books in my room with me, I do not know. Living in a hall of residence has helped me learn how to utilise every. last. inch. of space.)

Oh, Deerskin, I remember that I read that too. An incredibly hard subject and fairytale to deal with, but she did it well.

Even though I don't read books half as much any more (the internet has swallowed up much of my time), wherever I go, books still congregate. Wardrobe, bookshelves, weird cabinet thing, boxes, bags, all full up. I suspect there are many I'm forgetting to read, and some quiet day will be a very joyous one as I drag out good new book after good new book.

*grins at you* Sometimes when people perk up at interests I have, they're old or not especially things that matter to me any more. But each of those sure do and are current, too. I love that you respond that way to them, and I think we may get along. I've sub/acced you. :)

Yeah, I think I started on Deerskin a while ago and stalled... I will try again sometime soon, though.

I have books on my shelves, books in my wardrobe, books heaped up on my desk, books on top of my fridge, books under my bed, books in boxes at my grandparents' houses... haha. And of course, a ton of books back home too.

*grin* The first DW-only member of my circle! Hee.
