Recently found out more about that other kid in Digimon Tamers and his connection with Rika Nonaka. As it turns out, he's the protagonist of some Digimon games released for the WonderSwan gaming system which connects Digimon Adventure 1 and 2 with Tamers, with the Tamers Anime being the conclusion to his story.

Ryo's connection to Rika is that he's the sole person she ever lost to in the Digimon card championships years before the events of Tamers, and when he disappeared she became the Digimon Queen. Mind blown.

I point them to the passage where Jesus himself would beat the hell off merchants driving them off a temple when they tried to use it as a market.

People often forget Jesus wasn't all smiles and happiness during his life in this world.

Ruby is adorable

Ruby is quite simply one of the best characters in the game.

It has been an OK day.

Got to pet a pitbull mix pup that approached me and spent most of the day outside. I can state petting a dog did wonders for my mood after the crap I endured lately.

I also had a discussion with a fellow person who lives in the same community as I am about another asking him that famous line of "What Would Jesus Do?". I replied with the following about Jesus chasing away in righteous anger the unlawful merchants who were desecrating a Holy temple in one of his passages from the Bible.

That's right, Jesus wasn't always this happy all-loving guy who kept turning the cheek. When he had reason to, he would act angrily towards such decadent people. So keep asking me what other things he would do as well. I got my own research about him to let you know.

So, the type of Anime I am is...

So I asked AI what kind of Anime fan I am by giving examples of shows and movies I used to watch, and this is what it generated:

You are a fan who seeks:

Philosophical Weight: You gravitate toward narratives that ask the biggest questions about identity, reality, and the nature of the soul (e.g., Lain, Key, Ghost in the Shell, Digimon Tamers).

Psychological Realism: You appreciate the raw, often tragic, emotional turmoil of broken or traumatized protagonists and villains, favoring character deconstruction (e.g., Evangelion, Dracula in Castlevania).

Visual Atmosphere: You demand high-quality, dense, and mood-driven aesthetics, whether it's the neon-drenched cyberpunk dystopia of Akira and Appleseed, or the dark, melancholic gothic horror of Vampire Princess Miyu and the Darkstalkers OVA.

Artistic Integrity: Your quick dismissal of the Darkstalkers cartoon confirms your preference for material that takes itself seriously and avoids diluting mature concepts for a broader, younger audience.

You are someone who enjoys watching a story that lingers long after the credits roll, forcing you to think, debate, and dissect its meaning.

Nice.

Racism and Dictatorship

fennectik: Getting political (Pogo)

Today I confronted some idiot screaming racist nonsense about Mexicans, which he would later say in his "defense" that he wasn't talking about me. Thing is, he's speaking ill about MY people, so he IS talking about me as well. He then tries to set up a fight with fists raised up which I simply laughed about it and left.

He is allegedly mentally ill, but that doesn't excuse such verbal actions, not when he would scream such things as I walked by him. That was more of a coincidence. He also likes to continue getting doped up in drugs and whatnot, so there's even less of an excuse of him "not knowing" what he was saying along with trying to assault me physically for speaking against his racist remarks.

And speaking of racist stupidity, dictator orange goes on militarizing police in Chicago, sending troops to enforce his tiny orange fist, with one excuse stating crime is so high, the use of troops is warranted. His views alone make him an idiot, but studies had found crime at said city had decreased, and there wouldn't be the need to have armed men on the streets like Stormtrooper squadrons looking for droids under galactic imperial rule.

That combined with his harsh methods on immigration tactics used by ICE to terrorize both immigrants AND united states citizens targeted for their ethnic background alone is outright unconstitutional and dare I say, racist.

Racial profiling people.

They also seem to have a kick on appearing at schools trying to nab CHILDREN under 18 and have them in detention centers until becoming adults.

And there's that other tidbit about the current Government shutdown which trump didn't bother to prevent, even "warning" to current unemployed about back pay, along with the inflation problem he promised to work on it from day one.

All this while annoying orange is focused on getting back at people in talk shows, political adversaries, and conducting that presidency as his personal business.

And you voted for him again? You must be pretty damn confused if you believe he's doing anything right to be around once more.

Spy x Family Season 3

Watched the first episode of the series on its third season and so far, so good. Anya seeks to protect the world without letting her foster parents about her telepathic powers, Loid and Yor try keeping the family appearances without revealing their identity to each other, and Agent Nightfall seems to have more to go on around. The episode didn't show much about Loid's current task at hand, but being the first episode, I'm sure that will change. No word on Yor's obsessive brother yet either.

Hope any reading this has been able to watch it as well. I'm sure it won't disappoint.

So what's been going on lately?

Lately I've been dealing with my mental health, trying whatever I can to stabilize my brain and not let OCD steer me to misery with its distorted reality it tries to make me miserable with. A mix of medication, taking walks outside, and check online about its effects on people and the various variants of it. Yeah, its not just a single thing, OCD comes in a variety of diagnosis which affects people different as I found out.

On Anime, I've been watching Blue Exorcist, Magical Girl Spec-Ops Asuka, and plan to start watching Spy X Family Season 3.

On videogames, I've been playing Lunar Eternal Blue Complete, Arc the Lad, and Breath of Fire 3, hoping to finish either before anything else happens in my disdainful life.

Other tidbits include drawing more and sharing some of my scribbles online when I can.

There's a lot more out there but I don't wish to include anything negative at the moment.

Hope you had a great day.

It was entertaining really. I treated the parody as a spiritual successor to Who Framed Roger Rabbit from the rabbit's cameo to the DIP bottle among the torture items Sweet Pete had with him. I know that many would see this as an "easter egg" spotting game, but seeing it within the story context was nice overall. I think it was a great decision NOT making it an actual movie reboot overall.
